Throughout his career, he has developed extensive expertise in financial management, governance, donor compliance, grants administration, internal controls, audit readiness, strategic reporting, and organizational management, enabling him to effectively support complex, multi-donor programmes and institutional decision-making.

His work focuses on leading financial management systems, strengthening compliance with donor and organizational policies, and enhancing governance, transparency, and accountability. He oversees financial planning, treasury management, budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and the preparation of financial and management reports, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources while providing strategic financial insights that support organizational leadership and long-term sustainability.

Bastur also brings significant experience in managing humanitarian and development projects funded by international donors, including the United States Agency for International Development (USAID). He has successfully led projects focused on social cohesion, community resilience, public service improvement, environmental initiatives, and community engagement. His responsibilities have included project planning and implementation, stakeholder coordination, supervision of multidisciplinary teams, risk management, and ensuring that project objectives are delivered on time, within budget, and in full compliance with donor requirements and quality standards.

His experience includes overseeing payroll, taxation, social security compliance, financial documentation, banking relations, supplier management, and institutional administrative processes, contributing to stronger organizational performance and operational efficiency.
